ABOUT AHA
In February 2005, Vietnamese and other State Farm Agents throughout the U.S. came together in Las Vegas. Their goals were to:
- Review the Asian market
- Share ideas and best practices
- Explore possibilities
- Collectively work together to build on shared success
As a result of this exciting conference, Asian Agents were energized by the camaraderie and wanted to continue the excitement. Since that first meeting, Agents have met every year to share and build their agencies.
The success of the Vietnamese study group led to the formation of the Chinese study group, which held their conference in Toronto, Canada, in 2007 with over 70 Agents and Leadership attending. Since then, other Asian Ethnic groups have also formed, including the Filipino, Korean, and Indian study group.
Cross-cultural bonds between agents continue to grow and spread throughout North America. Agents and Leadership from every Zone attended the Asian Agents Conference II in San Francisco March 2011. Watch for more details as we plan for the next conference!
